Your secret is hidden.
Start with Classic: one secret word, a circle of friends, and someone bluffing.
Get 3-20 friends together. Pick your avatars and add names in the order you’re sitting.
Pass the phone. Hold to see your word or discover you’re the imposter. No peeking at anyone else’s!
Take turns giving clues around the circle. The imposter has to fit in without knowing the word.
Ready to vote? Decide who sounds suspicious, reveal the truth, and settle the score.
If joining fails, check that every phone is on the same network, allow local-network access if prompted, and try the room code if camera access is unavailable.
Pizza | Slices | Flatbread: word, hint, then a different but related decoy.Custom packs stay on this device. The editor also accepts an optional mission target, but the current Secret Mission mode draws only from built-in packs.
A different avatar for every player. Word packs for every mood. And enough twists to make your most trustworthy friend look very, very suspicious.
Start with Classic. Switch things up when you know your friends a little too well.
The crew shares a secret word. The imposter knows their role, but has to bluff their way through the clues. Vote together to find them.
Keep it simple, or give the imposter a category or hint. Add multiple imposters, timers or a final guess when your group wants a twist.
Crew: catch every imposter. Imposters: survive the vote, or steal the win with an enabled final guess.
The familiar hunt for the imposter, with secret abilities and extra objectives. Start with Detective, then choose from six roles to suit your group.
Explore the role cards before starting. Games need at least five players; Twins and Accomplice need six. Classic hint, timer and clue options are available too.
Help your team with your ability, or pursue a role-specific objective. The Jester wants to be voted out!
Most players receive the same word. The imposter receives a related decoy, with no warning that their word is different. Everyone gives clues and tries to work out who does not fit.
Nobody is told they are the imposter. The result reveals the identities and both words. Multiple imposters are available for larger groups. Special roles and final guesses are not used.
Find the player with the decoy. If you have it, blend in and survive the vote.
The imposter does not know the secret word. Instead, they get a related target and must steer a crew player into using it during clues.
One imposter plays each round. Written clues check the exact target automatically, ignoring case and punctuation. In spoken games, the group confirms it after voting. Only a crew player saying it during clues counts.
The imposter must complete the mission AND survive the vote to earn 2 points. Otherwise, crew score 1 each.
Crew players receive different words from one hidden category. One player gets a related word that falls outside it. Nobody is told their role, so everyone has a reason to feel suspicious.
After the reveal: things worn on your feet. Gloves go on your hands. Clues like “pair” or “warm” could fit either.
The category stays hidden until the result. There is one outsider per round. Carefully chosen groups keep the outsider close enough to bluff. Larger groups may share some crew words.
Vote for the outsider. The reveal shows everyone's word, the hidden category and why the outsider does not belong.
All included in the free Secret Roles mode. Browse the settings with any group size; start playing once there are at least five players.
Privately check whether one player is an imposter, once per game.
Your role becomes public when clues start. Your vote counts twice.
Two crew players who know their connection. Uses two crew places.
You know the word and the imposters. Help at least one escape.
No word or hint. Replaces an imposter and gets a final guess if the team is caught.
Act suspicious. Score three points if the group votes you out.
Share one phone or connect on the same Wi-Fi. Both ways to play are free.
Peek in private, then put the phone down and play face to face. Pick your own pace and start voting when the group is ready.
No internet needed · 3-20 playersSpeak your clues out loud, or take turns typing them. Choose 1, 2 or 3 written clues each, then review who said what during discussion and voting.
Play 3, 5 or 10 rounds, or keep going in Endless. Add a discussion timer. Classic, Secret Roles and Decoy also support multiple imposters and occasional no-imposter rounds.
Reveal the imposters, compare words and keep a running scoreboard. In connected rooms, send emoji reactions and set a timer for spoken clue turns.
Everyday objects, favourite characters, famous faces and more. Choose themes in Classic, Secret Roles and Decoy. Secret Mission and Odd One Out draw automatically from all built-in content available to the host.
Totals include free and Pro packs. All five game modes are free.

Pro is one optional, one-time purchase. No subscription. No separate pack purchases.
The free version can show ads between games. Friends can join a Pro host's local room without buying Pro.
Pay once to unlock Pro. Purchase and restore in the installed app. Custom packs are saved on your device.
Coming to iPhone and AndroidPro is an optional one-time purchase for all extra themed word packs, custom packs with up to 50 words each, and no ads. There are no subscriptions or separate pack purchases. All five modes, special roles and local connected hosting are free.
Yes. When you host a local connected game, friends can play your selected Pro packs without buying Pro themselves. Everyone must be on the same Wi-Fi or hotspot.
Choose written clues and take turns entering 1, 2 or 3 clues each. The game keeps names with the clues, so you can review who said what during discussion and voting.
The imposter gets a target instead of the secret word. They must get a crew player to use that target during clues and also survive the vote. Written clues check the exact target automatically; in spoken games, the group confirms it after voting.
In Decoy, the crew shares one word and the imposter gets a related decoy. In Odd One Out, crew players get different words from a hidden category, while the outsider gets a nearby word that does not belong. Neither mode tells the outsider their role. Large groups may share some crew words.
Played groups are remembered on the host device between games and app restarts. Unseen groups from all available built-in packs come first, then the least recently played groups return. Free hosts use free content; Pro hosts also include Pro content. Clearing app data resets this history.
With Pro, create custom packs with up to 50 words each. Every entry needs a hint and a different decoy. Use them in Classic, Secret Roles and Decoy. Secret Mission and Odd One Out currently use built-in content automatically. Custom packs are saved on the device where you create them.
Bring 3-20 players, or at least 5 for Secret Roles. Everyone picks a different avatar, so it’s easy to tell your suspects apart.
No. Pass & play uses just one phone for secrets and voting. Put it down while everyone gives clues.
Pass & play works offline. The separate-phone mode is designed for friends on the same Wi-Fi or hotspot.
Choose from five free modes: Classic, Secret Roles, Decoy, Secret Mission and Odd One Out. Classic keeps the core game simple. Secret Roles adds special abilities and objectives for 5 or more players. You can also change the round count and make custom word packs with Pro.
Select Classic, Secret Roles or Decoy, then open the word-pack options inside that mode's settings. Secret Mission and Odd One Out do not have a pack picker: they automatically use all available built-in content, including Pro content when the host has Pro.
You can browse the mode at any player count. Starting needs at least five players and at least one selected role. Twins and Accomplice need six players. Add players or return to Classic for a smaller group.
Connected rooms currently work over the same Wi-Fi or personal hotspot. There is no online matchmaking or internet relay. Play together in person, with one shared phone or a phone each.
In the installed app, open Pro and choose Restore purchases using the store account that made the purchase. If an unlock has not appeared, open Purchase help and try Refresh purchases. Contact support with your Support ID if you still need help.
Custom packs are stored locally. Restoring Pro restores access to its features, but does not sync your custom packs. Keep a separate copy of any words you want to use on another device.
Email [email protected]. For purchase issues, open Pro, expand Purchase help and use Copy Support ID or Contact support. Include your device, what happened and any error message.
